Who should attend?: This workshop is intended for Surui people who want to contribute information on the Surui's ancestral sites of cultural significance to the Surui Cultural Map. This workshop is also intended for those who wish to learn mapping techniques used to map some of the Surui Forest Carbon Plot map.
Quem deve assistir: Esta oficina destina-se ao povo Suruí que querem contribuir com informações em sites de ancestrais do Suruí é de importância cultural para o MapaCultural Surui. Este workshop destina-se também para aqueles que desejam aprender técnicas de mapeamento utilizadas para mapear algumas das mapa PlotSurui Carbono Florestal.
The goals of this workshop are to:
- Present tools from Google, including Google Docs and Spreadsheets, Google Earth, and Spreadsheet Mapper, to create an online version of the Surui Cultural Map. Support core technical group (both Surui and ECAM) for future trainings to other members of the tribe.
- Create a model for other indigenous tribes who wish to engage in cultural mapping.
- Identify additional needs of the Surui people for mapping and/or tools to drive development of the Surui Forest Carbon Project.
This will be the second hands-on technical workshop for the indigenous Surui people. Please note that the training will be conducted in English and translated live into Portuguese.
Os objetivos deste workshop são:
- Ferramentas atuais do Google, incluindo o Google Docs e Spreadsheets, do Google Earth, e Mapper planilha, para criar uma versão online do Mapa Cultural Surui. Suporte núcleo grupo técnico (ambos Surui e ECAM) para futuros treinamentos para outros membros da tribo.
- Criar um modelo para outras tribos indígenas que desejarem se engajar em mapeamento cultural.
- Identificar as necessidades adicionais do povo Suruí para o mapeamento e / ou ferramentas para impulsionar o desenvolvimento do Projeto Carbono Florestal Surui.
Esta será as mãos no segundo seminário técnico para os povos indígenas Suruí. Por favor, note que o curso será ministrado em Inglês e traduzida ao vivo em Português.
